Our Mission:

Empower African leaders as agents of transformation for individuals, organizations and society.

Like drops of water create ripples moving outward, our network members focus on the flourishing of the INDIVIDUALS around them: family, friends and work colleagues.

As more individuals flourish, the ripples of change move into the ORGANIZATIONS where they work–government agencies, NGO’s, churches, schools and universities, and professional groups.

And when organizations begin to thrive in new ways, their ripples begin to overlap and create new health and human wholeness across SOCIETY itself.

Lasting change in society flows from empowered leaders becoming agents of transformation in their families and organizations.

Calling forth and equipping these empowered leaders is our mission at LCN.

Our Vision:

Equip and organize 1,000 passionate African leaders into relational networks that empower genuine transformation at all levels.

Leadership Coaching Network

our team

DR. RICH HANSEN

Welcome!  I’m Dr. Rich Hansen, the founder of the Leadership Coaching Network (LCN). After ordination to the ministry in 1980, I’ve served 45 years as the senior pastor of local congregations, missionary and theology professor.

I am an accredited coaching trainer with the International Coaching Federation (ICF), and hold the Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential awarded by ICF. I also hold a credential in Team Coaching from the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC).

As a trainer of coaches and servant leaders, I offer the experience gained in training over 400 leaders in our Coaching for Transformation courses over the last four years. Currently over 40 of our course graduates are pursuing an ICF coaching credential.

As a coach of leaders and teams, I offer over 500 hours of coaching experience walking alongside leaders to help them gain deeper clarity about their challenges and opportunities, and make significant progress toward achieving their goals.

As an organizational consultant, I offer my experience as Senior Pastor of four congregations over 30+ years and as Academic Dean of the Ethiopian Graduate School of Theology (EGST).  I specialize in empowering organizations to become a “coaching culture” that impacts their staff, mission and everything they do.

I invite you to join our growing network of leaders who are making a HUGE difference in their families, organizations and society through the skills of leadership coaching.

Our Guiding Commitments

  • Our training courses are accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF), the “gold standard” of coaching across 140 nations worldwide, and meet ICF’s high standards of quality and excellence.

  • We are committed to support our graduates and partner organizations in worldview growth that provides a strong and effective foundation for our transformational journeys.

  • While our organization offers a Christian faith perspective, we welcome all students and partners who yearn to help others grow into the deep human wholeness that the Bible calls “Shalom.”

“If you want to build a ship, don’t drum up the men to gather wood, divide the work, and give orders. Instead, teach them to yearn for the vast and endless sea.”
